Nero

Prince Nero, to put it bluntly, is deluded. A vampire prince of a former world-spanning empire, Nero was the Chosen Golden Child of his royal line, and never wanted for anything. All assassination attempts failed due to his 'divine' presence blunting even the sharpest blades, rending sterile the nastiest poisons, and softening the harshest of clubs. He was considered nigh invincible. However, that didn't engender laziness in him, surprisingly enough. He was more than willing to make absolutely certain that his intended rule would never go challenged, and he had no low he'd stoop to- particularly with his enamored and beloved, if annoying and equally as unstoppable sister in tow. Things changed, however, when one group grew so desperate as to channel and contract 'demons' from beyond his realm. They carried weapons and powers that even his skills couldn't stop entirely...however, before they could truly eliminate him, he offered a deal- well over ten times what was offered by the rebels. They accepted, and so turned on their former masters. However, knowing what he did about their realm now, he decided to join them; if only to assert his dominance over every world he could find. After all, what was one pathetic dirt marble when there were countless to subjugate? Only too late did he realize his folly, and so he and his sister were taken away forever, destined to wander worlds at the behest of masters even they supposedly could not defy.

But that's fine. All he has to do is wait, watch, and plan, and just as always...he'll be back on top.
